EXPERIENCE<\/strong>: The OLSA General Manager has been working in education both in the USA and internationally since 1997 and was nominated as the best private school teacher in the entire state of Arizona, US, two years in a row – 2012 & 2013!  Other Spanish academies have limited experience, teaching Spanish only because they are native Spanish speakers.<\/li>\n
  2. CURRICULUM<\/strong> – OLSA’s curriculum is conversation-based, not worksheet-based. The vast majority of other Spanish academies in Medell\u00edn use a curriculum supported by methodologies that are limited to language theory.  OLSA International focuses on speaking Spanish (based on practice) from the first class.  Students learn to listen to Spanish, form words correctly, expand their vocabulary, conjugate in context, and learn about Latin culture while speaking\/conversing in Spanish, all in small groups.<\/li>\n
  3. VISAS DE ESTUDIANTE<\/b> – OLSA is certified through the Secretary of Education of Medell\u00edn, Colombia.  We are licensed to offer Colombian student visas through our Certified Spanish courses. These are the most effective courses in Medell\u00edn for improved Spanish fluency.  Other certified academies offer their students a minimum of 10 hours of classes per week.  OLSA International offers its students 12 hours of classes per week.  Our focus is to have our students to actually speaking Spanish when they finish their courses at OLSA.<\/li>\n
  4. EXCURSIONES <\/b>– OLSA International has the most extensive cultural immersion package of all the language schools in Medell\u00edn.  Apart from our conversational Spanish classes and certified Spanish courses (student visa courses), we also have alliances with Latin dance teachers and academies and we offer a catalog of 8+ excursions so that our students can choose from.  No other school offers so much!<\/span><\/li>\n

  6. FREE SURVIVAL SPANISH WORKSHOP <\/b>– We host a FREE Introduction to Medellin workshop each Wednesday at 4pm.  This 90-minute workshop covers some geography, history, things to do, things not to do, foods, excursions, scams, etc.  Space is limited to pre-enrollment is suggested!<\/li>\n
  7. SPANISH and ENGLISH<\/b>: OLSA International teaches certified Spanish, conversational Spanish and conversational English with native speakers from the US and Canada.  We have your practice people already here!<\/li>\n
  8. BILINGUAL STAFF<\/b> – We have bilingual staff – There is always someone present who speaks and understands English.<\/li>\n
