Hello!
I grew up in a small city called Pasto, which is on the southern border with Ecuador. I have been living in Medellin since about 2012.
I graduated as a Spanish teacher from the University of Antioquia and have been teaching Spanish as a second language to foreigners since then.
I love travelling! I have traveled to at least 10 countries and also had the opportunity to live in Brasil for six months! In addition to my native Spanish, I speak English and Portuguese. I also like walking, climbing, playing volleyball and reading.
And, I have an adorable puppy named Pepper, who I adopted when she was two months old. She is definitely the center of attention in my house.
Crecí en una pequeña ciudad llamada Pasto, esta ciudad está ubicada en el sur con frontera a Ecuador. He vivido en Medellin desde el año 2012.
Me gradué como profesora de español en la Universidad de Antioquia. Además, he enseñado español como segunda lengua a extranjeros desde hace 4 años.
Amo viajar, he viajado por alrededor de 10 países; también, viví en Brasil por seis meses, sí, hablo inglés y portugués. Aparte de eso, me gusta caminar, hacer senderismo, jugar voleibol y leer.
Tengo una perra llamada Pepper. Ella es adoptada. Decidí adoptarla cuando ella tenía dos meses de edad; ella es el centro de atención de mi casa. La amamos mucho.

Hi, I’m Lina, a committed, responsible, funny and above all, passionate woman. I am a language and literature teacher, graduated from the University of Antioquia. In addition, I am a Karate Do teacher, a martial art that I have been practicing for 6 years. What I like most about teaching is being able to meet and learn from people, and what I like most about being a certified Spanish teacher for foreigners is learning about curious facts from all cultures.
I believe that discipline, responsibility and sweet words are an excellent teaching method to guide people in any learning process. In my free time I love to spend time exploring new places, reading, exercising a lot and, of course, having a good coffee.
Hola, soy Lina, una mujer comprometida, responsable, graciosa y sobre todo, apasionada. Soy profesora de lengua y literatura, graduada de la Universidad de Antioquia. Además, soy profesora de Karate Do, arte marcial que practico desde hace 6 años, lo que más me gusta de la enseñanza es poder conocer y aprender de las personas, y lo que más me gusta de ser profesora de español certificado para extranjeros es aprender sobre hechos curiosos de todas las culturas.
Considero que la disciplina, la responsabilidad y las palabras dulces son un excelente método pedagógico para guiar a las personas en cualquier proceso de aprendizaje. En mi tiempo libre amo dedicarme a conocer nuevos lugares, leer, hacer mucho ejercicio y, por supuesto, tomarme un buen café.
